Miguel Cabral claimed his eighth victory at the 26th Arucas Hill Climb, solidifying his dominance in the mountain race that counts towards the Las Palmas Provincial Championship.

The driver, at the wheel of a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO-V Proto, demonstrated clear superiority over his direct rivals. He set his best time of the day at 1:52.221, although he did not manage to beat his own record from the previous edition (1:51.666) or the overall track record (1:50.916) he has held since 2024.
Despite not improving his personal bests, Cabral leveraged the power and all-wheel drive of his machine to secure the win. The event, which saw a large crowd, excellent organization by Escudería Aterura, and the appeal of a classic vehicle parade, witnessed Cabral dominate the official and practice runs with commanding times.
Second place went to Juany Jorge, driving a Seat León Supercopa, who finished 9.571 seconds behind the winner with a time of 2:01.792. The third spot on the podium was taken by Ányelo Padrón, returning to competition with a new BMW M-3, clocking in at 2:05.526.
The overall classification also recognized the commendable performance of Aaron Batista, who finished fourth in a modest Mitsubishi Colt (2:09.857). He was followed by David González (Honda Civic) in fifth place (2:10.955) and Iván Armar Jr (BMW M-3 E-30) in sixth (2:11.977). The subsequent positions down to tenth place were fiercely contested, decided by mere thousandths of a second among drivers such as Cristian Acosta (Peugeot 306 GTI), Echedy Cruz (Renault Clio Sport), Alby Martel (EVO-VII), and Daniel Santana (Citroën Saxo VTS).
In the Promotion category of the Federación de Automovilismo de Las Palmas, the victory went to Miguel Gutiérrez driving a Renault Clio Williams, followed by Pedro Perdomo (BMW 325).
