A chain-reaction accident involving three passenger cars and a school bus caused significant traffic congestion on the GC-1, heading towards Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred near the Las Terrazas shopping center, leading to a considerable disruption in vehicle flow. Emergency services were promptly dispatched to manage the situation.
According to sources from the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 112, all children traveling on the school bus were unharmed and did not require medical assistance after the impact.
The sole person affected was a woman who reported chest pain following the collision. She was transported to Hospital San Roque for medical evaluation to rule out any complications.
Activated emergency teams worked at the scene to assist those involved and ensure road safety, while efforts were made to remove the damaged vehicles and restore normal traffic conditions.
