UD Las Palmas has begun planning for the 2026-2027 season, focusing its efforts on renewing coach Luis García, although other options are being considered.

The sporting direction of UD Las Palmas has initiated the work to outline the next season's project. The main priority is extending the contract of coach Luis García Fernández, who qualified the team for the First Division promotion playoffs this season. However, his continuity is not assured due to interest from other clubs, such as Mallorca.
In addition to the coaching staff's continuity, the entity presided over by Miguel Ángel Ramírez is addressing squad composition. Croatian goalkeeper Dinko Horkas, under contract and after a good season, has attracted interest from other clubs, leading the board to consider a potential transfer.
Another key operation for the sporting direction is the renewal of French midfielder Enzo Loiodice, who is considered fundamental for the club's future project.
For the upcoming preseason, five or six players from the reserve team are expected to join the first team's training sessions. Among them are Valentín Pezzolesi, Elías Romero, and Iván Medina.
To provide further details on the 2026-2027 campaign planning, club president Miguel Ángel Ramírez will hold a press conference next week to outline the sporting objectives.
