The Government of the Canary Islands has announced the scholarship call for the 2026-2027 academic year, aimed at university students and, for the first time, those pursuing higher artistic education in public centers.

The initiative has a total budget of 10.5 million euros. To assist families with academic planning, the Executive has consolidated the early release of the schedule, which was formalized this year in July.
The application period will remain open for one month starting the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands. The entire process must be completed through the official electronic office of the Government of the Canary Islands.
Key updates include the incorporation of higher artistic education, ensuring these students have the same support opportunities as others in higher education. Additionally, the residency grant has been increased to 3,000 euros.
The call continues to provide support for tuition, transport, and disability, alongside academic excellence and second-chance scholarships. For inquiries, interested parties can contact the 012 information service or the phone numbers provided by the regional administration.
