The Ministry of Public Works, Housing, and Mobility of the Canary Islands Government has detailed the steps for beneficiaries of the 2025 Youth Rent Bonus to submit their rent payment supporting documentation.

Young people in the Canary Islands, aged between 18 and 35, who have been beneficiaries of the 2025 Youth Rent Bonus must now submit documentation proving their rent payments. This subsidy, managed by the Canary Housing Institute (ICAVI), aims to facilitate access to housing and offers up to 250 euros per month for a maximum of 24 months.
The resolutions, published on the electronic headquarters of the Canary Islands Government, are divided into two: one for the general line and another specific to the island of Lanzarote. Applicants have a period of 15 business days from notification to submit rent receipts or usage rights payments for the subsidized months that have already passed. Failure to submit within this period may result in the loss of the right to collect these monthly payments.
For files with issues that prevent payment processing, a 10-business-day hearing period is granted. During this time, affected individuals can submit allegations and the necessary documentation to rectify or regularize their situation.
The final deadline for submitting payment justifications will be July 7, 2026, while the period for making allegations will end on June 30, 2026. All detailed information can be consulted on the official notice board and website of the Canary Islands Government.
