At the University of La Laguna (ULL), 4,060 out of 4,583 registered students passed the exam. The average high school grade in the province was 8.24, which dropped to 6.56 for the PAU, resulting in an average final access grade of 7.57. Pass rates by modality were: 85.98% in Plastic Arts, Image and Design; 96.05% in Music and Performing Arts; 92.49% in Science and Technology; and 85.42% in Humanities and Social Sciences.
Broken down by island, Tenerife had 3,663 participants with an 89.3% pass rate. La Palma recorded 87.02% (295 passes); El Hierro, 94.8% (37 passes); and La Gomera, 86.6% (65 passes).
The pre-registration process for degree programs for the 2026/27 academic year is now open until July 2 for those who passed. Students who did not pass will have a second chance in the July examination session, scheduled for June 30 and July 1-2. The ULL has also invited the top 30 students with the highest access grades to an excellence recognition event on Monday, June 15.
Meanwhile, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) reported that out of 4,590 students examined, 2,431 women (91.7%) and 1,772 men (91.3%) were deemed eligible. Pass rates by modality were: 95.3% in Science and Technology, 87.6% in Humanities and Social Sciences, 87.7% in Plastic Arts, Image and Design, 95.4% in Music and Performing Arts, and 80.5% in General Baccalaureate.
The southern campus of Gran Canaria registered the highest pass rate at 93.1%. Other campuses also showed strong results: 92.4% in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 91.9% in Lanzarote, 91.8% in northern Gran Canaria, 90.2% in southern Fuerteventura, 89.8% in northern Fuerteventura, and 87.7% in Telde.
A total of 16 students (11 women and 5 men) achieved the highest scores at ULPGC, with 12 from public high schools and four from private ones. The perfect scores of 10 in the general phase were obtained by Laura Falcón (IES Politécnico de Las Palmas), Rafael Estupiñán (IES Playa de Arinaga), and Catalina Pimentel (CEIPS San Antonio María Claret), all from schools in Gran Canaria.
