Pope Leo XIV's arrival in Gran Canaria involves a logistical operation for the mass on June 11th at Gran Canaria Stadium, with four access phases.

The imminent visit of Pope Leo XIV to Spain has activated final preparations for his reception in the islands. Enélida Hernández, coordinator of the Local Committee of Canarias, detailed at a press conference that an email will be sent this afternoon to the faithful to confirm their attendance at the mass to be held on Thursday, June 11th, at Gran Canaria Stadium.
The accreditation process has been structured in several phases. After verifying security controls, the more than 45,000 registered in the first stage will receive an email to validate their presence using their DNI, which will be linked to a specific seat.
Once attendance is confirmed, the organization will issue a QR code. This code must be presented at the stadium's ticket offices to obtain an access wristband, which is essential for entering the designated areas in the Siete Palmas zone, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
These wristbands aim to manage entry flows and ensure the security of the event, which is expected to be crowded. The local committee thus seeks to streamline logistics and ensure orderly access to the celebration.
