Filmoteca Canaria, an entity under the Government of the Canary Islands, has scheduled the screening of the film My Hero Academia: Two Heroes to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the popular anime saga.

The session will serve as a preview for the upcoming film cycle titled Japan gets animated, which will take place during the autumn. The film, originally released in 2018, tells a story set in a floating city where the protagonists face a threat that puts the stability of hero society at risk.
The screenings will be presented in the original version with Spanish subtitles. The first event will take place on July 21 at the Teatro Guiniguada, in Gran Canaria, while on July 23 the film will be shown at Espacio La Granja, in Tenerife. Both sessions will begin at 7:00 PM.
After the summer break, the Japan gets animated cycle will resume its schedule between October and December. The program will include notable titles such as Your name, I want to eat your pancreas, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, 5 Centimeters per Second, and Weathering with You.
