The Estadio de Gran Canaria will be at full capacity this Sunday for UD Las Palmas' promotion playoff match against Málaga, as confirmed by president Miguel Ángel Ramírez.

UD Las Palmas is gearing up to play the first leg of their promotion playoff to the First Division against Málaga this Sunday at 8:00 PM at the Estadio de Gran Canaria. Club president Miguel Ángel Ramírez has confirmed that a "full house" is expected in the stands, reflecting the great enthusiasm of the fans.
Ramírez expressed the widespread excitement: "Everyone is very excited. People are very happy. Our fans know how difficult it is. We need to put the cherry on top, and let's see if we can achieve it together." He recalled the difficulty of these ties, mentioning that Málaga won both league matches against them, unlike a previous playoff against Tenerife where UD prevailed in the playoff after losing in the league.
Regarding the team's condition, the executive highlighted the positive feelings: "I see the team very well physically and mentally." He emphasized the importance of staying calm and not getting carried away by anxiety, but rather "going out to play a match as the coach has marked." He stressed that the commitment to give their all, from both the team and the fans, is key to achieving the objective, something they have already demonstrated previously.
Ramírez also pointed to the team's statistics, indicating that they have been among the top six for most of the season and have accumulated more points than in the season of their last promotion. "At the beginning of the season, if they told you that you would get 73 points, you would be sure you would be in the First Division," he stated.
On the continuity of coach Luis García, Ramírez conveyed the club's satisfaction with his work, whose results and league position support his management. "The points would have been enough to go up to the First Division in other seasons," he noted. Although the coach prefers to wait until the end of the season, the club wishes for his continuation. "If they get promoted, he has one more year, but if not, we will also discuss his continuity," he concluded, focusing the current effort on the promotion objective.
