From Friday, June 19th, to Sunday, June 21st, several municipalities across the island will present a wide array of options for all audiences. San Juan celebrations, live concerts, festivals, artisan markets, and themed fairs are among the main attractions.
In the south, San Bartolomé de Tirajana will host the Castillo Vivo Festival in Castillo del Romeral, featuring live music and sports activities on Friday and Saturday. Gáldar will experience an intense weekend with the Gáldar Pride celebration, including a Glitter Party, the Gran Gala Queen Of Queens with Ptazeta, a parade, and the Gran Mogollón.
Arucas will celebrate its San Juan Fiestas with the KM.0 Gran Canaria Fair, comedy events featuring Maestro Florido and Yanely Hernández, and concerts by Chimbala and Abian Reyes. There will also be a Latin Night and a Livestock Fair.
Tejeda will offer the Romantic Night on Saturday, June 20th, with musical performances such as 101 Brass Band Latin Show and Carlos Rivera voiced by Elías Uche, alongside an astronomy event. Telde will continue its San Juan Fiestas, including a Grand Romería and nights of traditional music.
La Atalaya, in Santa María de Guía, will host its Commercial Fair with over a hundred stalls and musical performances. Firgas will celebrate the San Luis Fiestas with an opening speech, children's puppet shows, a foam party, the Traída de la Rama, and fireworks.
In Teror, Arbejales will hold its festivals featuring the preparation of arches, a recognition for the 75th anniversary, the Traída de los Arcos, dances, and fireworks. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will continue its Foundational Festivities, highlighting the Sanjuanero Concert ‘La Costa de los Cantares’ with Olga Cerpa and Mestisay, a family concert, and the Elepegecé Festival.
Valleseco, in Valsendero, will organize the San Luis Gonzaga Festivities with a rally car exhibition. Artenara will hold the Mercadillo de Belingo with folk music and children's activities.
