The intervention occurred after detecting that the car was parked in a space designated for authorized users, utilizing a disabled parking permit (PMR) that had expired in 2013. Furthermore, the accreditation was registered under the name of a person who had already passed away.
After verifying the situation, the agents proceeded to remove the vehicle, which was taken to the municipal depot. The used card was also seized, considered a key element in the alleged fraudulent use.
“"The improper use of these types of accreditations not only constitutes an administrative infraction, but in certain cases can constitute a crime, especially when third-party documents or invalid cards are used to obtain undue advantages."
Local authorities remind the public that spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility are intended to facilitate access to health centers, public buildings, and other necessary areas for those who genuinely require them. Therefore, they emphasize the importance of pursuing and sanctioning such fraudulent behaviors to ensure the proper use of these spaces.
