Organized by the Pimienta Selectoras Cultural Association and part of the Akelarre Festival, this edition focuses on black music, exploring its soul and jazz facets, presented exclusively in vinyl format. The initiative is supported by the El Paso City Council, the Cabildo de La Palma, and various local entities.
The musical day will unfold in different locations within El Paso's town center, starting at 6:00 PM and continuing until 1:00 AM. The program includes notable performances promising a unique sound experience.
From Madrid, the group Shelly & Columbus 3 will showcase their talent at Lunático at 6:00 PM. Shelly is renowned for being the first woman to lead both a soul and a heavy metal band in Spain, marking a milestone in the music scene. Later, at 9:00 PM, the Ermita de Bonanza will host a performance by Canarian jazz saxophonist Pleito. The night will culminate at 10:00 PM in Plaza Vieja de El Paso with a vinyl set by Sra. Pimienta b2b DJ Courtney.
In addition to the musical offerings, the Chica Party will feature a gastronomic area with beer, cocktails, a wine bar, and snack options provided by Bar Los Ángeles. Admission to the event will be free until full capacity is reached.
