The Vallehermoso City Council is carrying out the repair of walls and the improvement of paths and trails in various areas of the municipality that suffered damage due to storms Emilia and Therese.

The actions focus on the recovery of public infrastructure and trails, covering both municipal roads and hiking routes. These works are carried out in collaboration with the Insular Council of La Gomera and local sports associations, such as the El Rempujo Association, organizer of the Trail Virgen de El Carmen.
These works respond to the council's priority of restoring public spaces and facilities of strategic importance. The objective is to re-establish normality for residents and visitors after the incidents recorded in multiple areas of the municipality, including Chipude, El Cercado, Alojera, Arguamul, El Ingenio, San Pedro, and Macayo, among others, during the storm period.
Municipal staff have carried out the improvements and replacement of walls and paths, under the supervision of City Council officials, ensuring the functionality of these areas.
