The municipality of Adeje is preparing to celebrate the second edition of its Chicken Fair on June 13th, an event that will fill Calle Grande and Plaza de España with local gastronomy and commerce.

The fair, which will run from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM, is an initiative promoted by the Economic Development and Employment Service of the Adeje City Council, the Association of Entrepreneurs, Merchants, and Professionals of the municipality, and the Commerce Department of the Tenerife Island Council. It is part of the Adeje Empresarial project and aims to consolidate the municipality as a benchmark for gastronomy and local consumption.
Attendees will be able to taste various preparations based on Adeje's characteristic chicken at the stalls set up for the occasion. Among the establishments offering this star dish are the historic Bar España, founded in 1930 and also known for its tomato soup, and the restaurant Otelo.
The culinary offering will be complemented by wines from the Abona region and homemade desserts. The day will be enlivened with children's entertainment and live musical performances throughout the afternoon and evening.
