More than a ton and a half of non-perishable food items have been delivered in Candelaria following the 35th Floral Athletic Offering Virgen de Candelaria, an event that unites sport and solidarity.

The organizers of the 35th Floral Athletic Offering Virgen de Candelaria made the delivery this Wednesday of over a ton and a half of non-perishable food. These products were collected from runners who participated in this sporting event, which has become a prominent fixture of the festivities honoring the patron saint.
The donated solidarity food items will be directly distributed among the municipality's most vulnerable families through the social work of Cáritas.

"Municipal representatives expressly thanked the involvement of Domingo Álvarez and the company Med Salud Sports, represented by David González, as the main promoters of this initiative that combines sport, tradition, and solidarity in Candelaria."
