The inaugural ceremony was attended by various academic authorities, who highlighted the importance of collaboration over competition to drive academic excellence. Emphasis was placed on the need to update teaching methods to prepare students for future challenges.
Within the framework of the week, a professor of Mathematics Didactics from the Gran Canarian university was recognized for his award for the best international doctoral thesis in the field of Engineering Education, granted in November by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in Nashville, United States.
The program of the conference, which will run until April 24, includes presentations and a workshop on Artificial Intelligence applied to teaching, scheduled for April 21 and 22. The I Contest Your Thesis in Educational Research in 5 Minutes will also be held, where doctoral students will present their work.
