The Ministry of Universities, Science, Innovation and Culture of the Government of the Canary Islands has finalized the management of mobility grants for university students for the 2024/25 academic year, resolving all submitted applications.

The process has concluded with one hundred percent of the requests addressed, marking a milestone in the management of these subsidies aimed at facilitating academic mobility for students.
A total of 3,521 applications were registered. Of these, 1,127 corresponded to students from the University of La Laguna (ULL), while 448 came from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). A significant portion, 1,946, were submitted by students enrolled in other public universities outside the Canary archipelago.
The resolution of these grants was carried out in several stages. The first three direct payment resolutions and the first definitive resolution were processed between 2025 and January 2026. Subsequently, in March 2026, a second provisional resolution was issued to address those applications that required correction or had been initially denied.
The final definitive resolution has brought the call to an end, resulting in 262 approved applications. The total disbursement associated with these grants amounts to 67,680 euros, contributing to the financial support of Canarian university students.
Detailed information about this call is available for consultation on the official website of the Ministry and in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC), ensuring transparency in the process.
