Former players of CV Juventud Las Palmas, the first Canary Islands team to ascend to the top national volleyball division in the 1981/1982 season, gathered in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to share memories.

The historic club CV Juventud Las Palmas, which marked a milestone by being the first Canary Islands volleyball team to reach the top national category in the 1981/1982 season, recently held a moving reunion. Numerous members of that squad gathered in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to share a meal and reminisce about their experiences.
During the evening, attendees shared anecdotes from that golden era, discussed the changes in the sport's rules over the years, and reflected on the current trajectory of volleyball in Gran Canaria. Particular mention was made of CV Guaguas, a team that counts some of those present at the reunion among its season ticket holders.
