A cyclist from the Handbike Telde club has won the title of champion of the 2026 Spanish Paralympic Cycling Cup in the MH4 category, after winning the last race held in Oviedo.
The athlete, representing the Handbike Telde club, was crowned champion of the 2026 Spanish Paralympic Cycling Cup in the MH4 category. This achievement came after his victory in the final event, the I Paralympic Trophy Principality of Asturias – Spanish Cup, where he recorded a time of 1:14:19.
This result culminates an exceptional season for the cyclist, who has maintained a high competitive level throughout the six events that make up the national calendar. His consistency has solidified his position as a prominent figure in his category within Spanish adapted cycling.
The final competition took place last Saturday in Oviedo, specifically in the La Florida-Las Campas area. The event was organized by the Cycling Federation of the Principality of Asturias and the Oviedo City Council. The competition was held on a 3,400-meter circuit and saw the participation of over fifty cyclists from various modalities, including handbikes, tricycles, tandems, and bicycles.
The event brought together important figures in national Paralympic cycling, including Spanish champions and a world champion, highlighting the high level and relevance of the competition.
